Gucci Mane somehow is caking with the “Free Gucci” t-shirt business, that’s the only explanation I can find for this kid to consistently get arrested. This latest arrest, which occurred a couple days ago on the eighth, could be be considered a violation of Gucci’s probation which is in place since 2005. Apparently, Gucci Three Cones pushed a woman out of a moving vehicle.
Sure, Gucci getting arrested doesn’t affect the music, as we all know he spends every second of the vacations he takes from jail in the studio, something we can infer easily from the number of records that drop by the week, but it’s not him I’m concerned with.
I’m guessing by this point we could even label “Free Gucci” as a state of mind as opposed to a movement like the one we saw when Lil Wayne went to jail. A quick Twitter search with the terms “Free Gucci” is bound to spawn multiple results even if we only consider the ones submitted today.
This is getting crazy, though. At this point, should he really be free ? If not jail time, I’m sure that mental institution he was in back in January would still accept him. Y’all Bricksquad fans [this is not my area] wouldn’t mind Waka Flocka Flame taking over his spot, would you ? Apparently he’s not going anywhere anyway.
And don’t get me wrong, this has nothing to do with my personal dislike for Gucci’s music. What I’m saying is: It’s time to free “Free Gucci”. The supporters did their part, to no avail. Let’s rock some “Free Boosie” t-shirts [those are actually horrible] for a change. The kid Boosie deserves some support as well.
